Chevrah Lomdei Mishnah Announces Two New Products To Help Cope With Grief and Loss of A Loved One

Lakewood, NJ – Chevrah Lomdei Mishnah is committed to helping grieving people by providing Torah study and prayer help to elevate their loved one’s Neshama. They also provide resources to help the surviving relatives deal with their grief better. Focused on improving how people handle and process the loss of their loved ones, they have announced two new products, a book for teens who have lost a parent and a companion booklet for their friends.

In the new publication, “I Wish Someone Would Have Told Me,” readers will find the support they need to go through their grieving period while understanding loss and why it has happened. Describing the new resource, their spokesperson said: “I Wish Someone Would Have Told Me is a unique publication that offers support and education to Jewish teens who have lost a parent. Divided into 96 daily readings, plus an addendum with beautiful poems, the book is based on careful research and interviews with many individuals who experienced the loss of a parent during their childhood or teen years.”

The book, specifically designed for readers in their teenage years, especially those who have lost one or both parents, has been carefully curated. The resource was written by a seasoned author, Miriam Ribiat, and has editorial input from top contributors like Tali Arieff, LCSW, RPT. The resource is designed solely to help teenagers find relief, process their emotions better, and understand the importance of moving on. Readers will also find real-life scenarios and practical suggestions within the pages of the book.

Chevrah Lomdei Mishnah understands that grieving people aren’t the only ones impacted by the loss of a loved one. Friends may also feel the gloom and may be unable to relate with their grieving friends. They have launched a second book, “I Wish Someone Would Have Told My Friends: For Friends of Teens Who Have Lost a Parent or Sibling.” The second publication aims to help friends to support their loved ones who are grieving due to the loss of a parent or sibling.

The book contains 96 daily readings and an addendum with poems. It carefully researches the topic of grief and shares how friends can be supportive in such delicate times. It also shares some of the aspects of the grieving person’s life that may be affected by their loss and how friends can be instrumental in shaping those aspects and the outcomes.

Chevrah Lomdei Mishnah still offers Mishnah study for a deceased loved one and Gemara study on time for the Yahrtzeit. Click here for more.
